Data Engineer Team Lead

You will establish and lead a team that will take key part in optimizing the way we work with data and enabling efficient research and data science work on cloud and on-premises.

As a Data Engineer TL , you will be responsible for:

• Leading an engineering team, identify their needs and their strength in order to help them excel.
• Defining and managing development milestones, coordinate and review your team's technical work.
• Understanding a complex technical problem, identifying the tools needed for the solution, design and implement your plan.
• Working closely across multiple R&D teams to understand their needs, build data architecture to solve their problems and create a long term data strategy.
• Developing processes and tools to monitor, analyze, maintain and improve data pipeline operation, performance and usability.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience in Data engineering of designing, building, optimizing and maintaining big data pipelines using open-source frameworks.
• Have experience in Systems engineering, implementing efficient solutions on public cloud (preferably Azure) and a deep understanding of data storages.
• Have management experience of leading a technical team (2+).
• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience .
