Senior Security Researcher - ART

As a Senior Security Researcher you will focus on simulating and emulating our most advanced adversaries against our security products, affecting hundreds of customers.

As a Senior Security Researcher, you will be responsible for:

• Challenging our security product portfolio towards the best security posture to provide our customers with.
• Constructing the threat landscape for our security products line by embedding the threat actor’s perception of our product and trends.
• Identifying new standards and technologies that could impact our security products’ accuracy.
• Conducting in-depth research on tools or services that aid threat actors to bypass our solutions.
• Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base of threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors relevant to Akamai’s products.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have an in-depth knowledge of the web application security field, web architecture, and protocols.
• Have 3+ years of information security hands-on experience.
• Have deep understanding of the cybersecurity threat landscape, and the attacker’s mindset.
• Have proven reverse engineering, code analysis and vulnerability research skills.
• Have experience in scripting and programming (JavaScript, Python, etc.)
• Participating in bug bounty platforms or own public CVE’s related to web applications.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Have security research past publications (i.e. presentations, blogs, whitepapers, academic).
