Manager, Network Operations Center

About this opportunity 

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of IT/Cloud Operations, this individual will be a part of our growing team of cloud engineers which closely work with R&D, supporting Algin’s applications over various environments, development, staging and production. The Role will build and Manage a 24 x7 NOC team designated to monitoring and enablement of Cloud Production/ Preproduction and engineering environment

In this role, you will… 

• Build lead and manage the Network Operations Monitoring team and be prepared to get hands on occasionally.
• Work closely with various groups, cross company, to develop a monitoring product roadmap and suggest strategic improvements as well as act as a leader in the IT Cloud management group
• Manage and supervise a 24 x7 NOC team
• Lead production issues or incidents to resolution
• Lead RC analysis
• Research, design and develop cloud automation, monitoring and vulnerability management aspects

In this role, you’ll need … 

• At least 5 years of experience with NOC
• 3+ years NOC Management experience
• Networking background with an understanding of core IP
• Develop the team from a technical perspective
• Experience operating in a strategic capacity
• Can-do attitude on execution, problem solving and product quality – a must
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skill
• Production support background (Respond to off-hours, weekends emergencies and activities)
• Ability to work under stressful conditions.
• Proven experience with monitoring and alerting tools i.e, NewRelic, SignalFx, PagerDuty etc.
• Working for a global enterprise company - advantage
