Fyber is looking for an experienced, skilled, independent and responsible bookkeeper to join our finance team. The Bookkeeper maintains records of financial transactions, establishes accounts and posting transactions in addition to issue invoices and conduct collection from customers.
- Work closely with the Director of Finance and the bookkeeper's team for the day to day bookkeeping functions.
- Processing and filing invoices, setting up payments in the system.
- Ensuring invoices are in compliance with company’s guidelines, working with other departments to gather information if needed.
- Preparation of accruals and prepayments, reconciling to the general ledger for the monthly closing.
- Setting up vendors within the accounting system and assist with prepare yearly 1099s.
- Assist team members with ad hoc tasks.
- Assist with corporate/ company cards recording and reconciliations.
- Manage collection activities to maximize and advance cash receipts
- Issue collection letters to overdue accounts
- Maintain accurate records about the customer payment status
- Weekly aging report preparation
- 3 years' minimum experience as a bookkeeper
- Experience in working with US institutions - advantage
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Experience in collection - advantage
- Experience with Oracle Cloud - Big advantage
- Strong knowledge in excel
- High English level
