The Documentation TL works closely with the Documentation Manager in leading the documentation department in accordance with organizational policies, objectives, and budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve standard documentation methods and tools to efficiently produce high quality information
- Plan and direct documentation projects for timely delivery of documents, publications, and on-line content
- Help team members in their day-to-day activities
- Ensure that product/department milestones/goals are met and adhered to
- Research, write, edit, and review conceptually complex documentation
- Identify and resolve issues relating to deliverables, documentation project schedules, resource availability, document management, documentation structure, and revision and publication processes
- Establish and improve procedures and processes
- Provide guidance and support to subject matter experts
- Keep up to date with new trends, tools, and technologies in the industry
- Ensure that customers get clear, accurate, and high-quality documentation
- Publish the documentation
- Work closely with the Development group and Product managers in an Agile ecosystem
